When you bring Scallywag® products into your home, we want to ensure that they not only meet your needs, but keep your child safe as well. All our products are designed and produced to comply with the latest safety standards which apply to beds with a sleeping surface of 600mm or more (currently EN 747-1:2012+A1:2015).

Together with correct assembly, the following guidelines should ensure that you as well as your children can sleep soundly:

• Always use the recommended sized mattress to help prevent the likelihood of entrapment or falls.
• Ensure that the depth of the mattress, combined with any other foundation does not exceed 18cm.
• The use of water or sleep flotation mattress is prohibited.
• It is not recommended that children under 6 years of age use the upper bunk.
